How it Works
Air conditioning is based upon the transfer of energy via evaporating and condensing a liquid
The refrigerant used in air conditioning systems has a cooling effect as it evaporates within the metal coils of the system. When the gas is condensed back into a liquid it gives off heat which is directed outside while the liquid returns inside to continue the cooling process.
